Have your say on Council's services, facilities and programs
Have your say on Council's services, facilities and programs through a Community Satisfaction Survey.
Background
Bega Valley Shire Council is inviting residents to share their feedback on the services, facilities and programs it provides through a Community Satisfaction Survey running from Monday 20 July to Sunday 9 August.
The survey will be conducted by independent market research agency, Taverner Research Group, and results will provide valuable insights into residents’ satisfaction with Council's services, facilities and infrastructure, as well as whether they believe these represent value for money.
Previous community satisfaction surveys were undertaken in 2016 and 2024. See the related documents section of this page.
How to provide your feedback
We encourage residents to participate in the survey to help Council assess its performance across a range of measures.
Independent market research agency, Taverner Research Group will conduct the survey and phone a random selection of about 400 residents over the age of 18 years from phone number (02) 6418 9008 during the survey period.
Taverner Research Group interviewers will always identify themselves at the beginning of the call. They will never ask for financial information, bank details or any other information that could identify individuals. All responses will remain confidential.
The researchers will ask for demographic information to support analysis of the results across ages, living arrangements and localities.
Phone calls will be carried out between 4pm and 8.30pm weekdays and between 10am to 4pm on weekends.
Residents can also have their say by completing an online survey, whether or not they participate in the phone survey.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
Please submit your feedback by 11.45pm on Sunday 9 August 2026.
