Background
Policy 4.16 Child Safe Organisation is a new policy that sets out Council’s commitment to the safety, wellbeing and rights of children and young people who access Council services, facilities and programs.
The policy outlines Council’s child safe responsibilities, reporting pathways, accessibility and inclusion principles, and governance arrangements. It is intended to support a consistent organisation-wide approach to child safety and provide a clear framework for how Council promotes and upholds child safe practices.

Submissions are invited from Wednesday 24 June 2026 to Wednesday 5 August 2026.

Council will consider all submissions received during the exhibition period.
